  The National Reference Center is a specialized library containing documents from throughout the world related to ethical issues in health care, biomedical research, and biotechnology. Established in 1973, this collection functions both as a reference library for the public and as an in-depth research resource for scholars from the United States and abroad. The Library contains documents from throughout the world. Through our collection and reference efforts, we strive to support contemporary scholarship and to secure a history of the development of the field of bioethics. The non-circulating library collection currently houses over 31,300 books, over 400 active journals and newsletters, about 500 videos, and more than 260,000 articles, reports, court decisions, bills, and other such documents. It is the world's oldest and largest library in bioethics.

  • SPEC
    The purpose of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Club (SPEC) is to increase the overall level of ethics and professionalism at the USC School of Dentistry. By uniting the community of students, faculty and staff of USCSD, SPEC will promote lifelong thought and action in the arena of dental ethics. Read more.
