Professor Pamela Zarkowski is currently Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Science, a Masters of Public Health in Dental Public Health, a Teaching Certificate in Community Dentistry from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University. An educator for more than 40 years, she has served in various administrative roles at the School of Dentistry and the University. She has held leadership roles in national organizations, provided continuing education, and published on professional, legal, and ethical issues for dental and health professionals. She is a past president of the American Dental Education Association, the Society for Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine, and the American Society for Dental Ethics. She is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the American Society for Legal Medicine.
