Q: I teach dental ethics at my university. Where can I get and how can I apply dental ethics learning material?
There are multiple teaching techniques for dental ethics. We encourage you to attend our continuing education workshops, which are designed for the development of dental ethics faculty. Workshops are provided periodically, often during the ADEA Annual Session and other times at different sites in the US. ASDE has developed curriculum guides for all four years of predoctoral dental education and can be adapted for Allied Health.
Q: I want to submit an essay for the Ozar-Hasegawa dental ethics award. How and when can I do that?
The announcement for submission will be posted around mid-December for submissions due in February. Winners will be announced in April. Please consult our Awards section for further details.
Q: How do I submit an article for publication?
Submissions should address ethical and professionalism issues relevant to dentistry and related health professions. Potential topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Research ethics questions, general topics related to ethics, professionalism, development of professional identity, cases, and other relevant topics.
Only full-length manuscripts will be considered. All submissions will be peer-reviewed and therefore, not all submissions will be accepted.
